I am hoping for two good games, but agree!! The F' ing Hawks have a tendency to break some wood across shins. Mowat will steal one game. A split is likely.

Beavers played well and probably deserved a better fate, however give St. Cloud credit for taking the first game. Will be interesting next weekend to see who finishes 5th - 7th and what the first round playoff matches will be.

Two pretty evenly matched teams IMO. St. Cloud has improved tremendously since last time I saw them play. Beavers need at least a split for a chance at a five seed. No one wants to go into Duluth, Madison or Twin cities the first weekend of playoffs. Beavers still searching for consisted scoring, however. This has been their Achilles heal all year. Should be a fun final weekend.

Great effort by the Beavers today. This team has played its best hockey down the stretch with not the best results. They always battle, compete and never quit. Will be fun to see how they respond tomorrow after a big win. The future looks bright for this young team that graduated 9 from last year.
