  • The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways. Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar. We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.

BC Women's Hockey '15-'16: Dum Spiro Spero

Still no word on captains. They were announced around this time last year -- actually a little earlier. Captain America is obvious but beyond that I couldn't begin to guess.

Halfway decent OOC schedule this year if UMD doesn't have a complete post-Miller collapse. Hockey East can't possibly be worse** although BU will probably take a small step back. NU should definitely improve.

**The three Merrimack games excluded

On a side note, right now I'm in Australia which is mostly irrelevant to this forum except for the fact that I used the 22 hours of flights getting here to update the PWR spreadsheet/calculator to include Merrimack.

It took me (seriously) about 3-4 hours of burying my head in formulas to fix/update so I kindly request that, with the exception of the D2 independents, no one else starts a new D1 program anytime soon. Thanks, Management.

I wonder if previously there have been posts to this forum from Down Under?

Surely at least Duluth or Clarkson must have had a Sheila on their team at some point. Their rosters are like a U.N. roll call.
No Sheila's in the history of Clarkson hockey ;) .
No worries; UMD has this one covered. In recent years, the recruiting objective seemed to become less about winning and even more about adding players with unique home towns.

Be glad you're there now. The Aussies are changing their tax laws for foreigners

G'Day TTT. Crikey, that's a long ways. I reckon you're on walkabout? Isn't it winter over there? Any hockey?

I have lots of cousins that grew up and live in Australia, mostly in the central (Bundaberg) and northern (Townsville) regions of Queensland. In that neck of the woods, it is summer like pretty much year around.

Ahhhh Bundaberg. Home my absolutely most favourite rum in the world. I used to be able to get it in British Columbia but they took it off the shelf. They don't ship to the U.S. 😢
