Agreed. Except for hitting the posts, BC appears to doing what it wants tonight so far. Crisp passing, good fore- and backchecking, keeping the Cats away from making any serious threats. Great play by Hayes to break up Moses' break earlier in the period. Hope for better results.

Not my concern -- I'm a Red Sox fax (and have been since Ted Williams' final year).You and Dean at all worried about Utley's injury? I feel maybe it can give the Mets a couple of games so we can finish 4th.

Well I'm not gonna lie and say I'm comfortable not having Utley in the lineup, but apparently this Rule 5 kid Michael Martinez can more than fill his shoes if Chase is out for any length of time. Plus they still have Valdez, although he's hardly an offensive replacement for Utley. All that being said "COME BACK SOON CHASE!!"

Hoping the Philthies go down hard this year, but it won't be us that takes them down...unless Madoff can pitch as well as he steals money.

No need to apologise, I would say the same if the Mets were looking like pre-season division winners. The NL East is actually a tough division. The Nats are getting better, the Braves will be very good and the Marlins have some excellent young players. I don't think anyone should be conceding the division to the Phils just yet, it's a long season.
