The good:
Great effort
Big scoring by upperclassmen
Mike Lee with some huge saves
Barta and Hepp played very well

The bad:
Too many odd man rushes
Mental lapses leading to big chances for Minny

Overall a good game, and they played a close to 60 minute game, we need that every night.
If they do it, they can beat anyone.

Congrats SCSU. You beat the worst team in the WCHA. Golf clap.

Good game by the Huskies tonight. I am glad they took it to them and didn't play down to the competiton. Like I said before they should sweep this team. Of course according to Kevin Gorg the Goofers have more talent up front then the Huskies do.:D

:rolleyes:It called calling someone out for making up lame excuses about games last year. The Gophers were going to lose last year if Hoeffel played last year or not. stop making excuses and just admit your team sucks....

Here's the spin (part 1 and 2): Part 1: The Gophers are not as good as UNO and SCSU. Part 2: Blame ScoobyDoo, he cursed the team.

Huskies played solid hockey for about 55 Minutes. Lee earned the shut out and his team let him down. That is complete BS. There is no reason to hang your skates up early.

On a positive note, Roe had a great night with 3 points and broke the scoring seal. That was the game he needed to get rolling. Also nice to see the PP start to come around.

It's called human nature. Teams let up when they are up 5 goals. In a perfect world it shouldn't happen, but many times it does. Give the gophers credit the kept playing and got two goals. The team needs to come out sunday afternoon and want it as bad as they did tonight.

Same thing happened to Miami last Friday.

With rumors rumbling of a Gopher Hockey Fan Boycott, there should be lots of seats available now for Sunday.
