btw - I missed seeing a replay on the goalie interference call - was the puck not in play on that and therefore the right call was made?

I thought it was a fair call, and still think so after watching the replay. Blood tried to take his body one way and the puck the other side of the goalie, which works only if you're Toews, Datysuk, Ovechkin, but not for Blood. Hope Dunn is OK.

No whining. Congrats Souix. 2 straight years of a play-in team winning it all. As usual, peaking right when you want. I will say, not knowing the difference between Marvin and Festler when calling a penalty and putting the best penalty killer in the box...... not good officiating. And the Lauridsen penalty, well no need to discuss. "ALL" true fans of the game, no matter who you cheer for, know what that was or should I say wasn't. But you know what? The Souix capitalized in a huge game, end of story. Good luck to all WCHA teams in the show. And glory be, SCSU just down the road. Wonderful for the fans.

I had UMD, Gopher and Sioux fans sit around our SCSU group at all five games this year. We all had a blast, great group of people, the chant of "Sit down stick boy!" at the Wisco equipment manager during the SCSU/Wisco game on Friday was awesome!

All the fans around me were classy, a little rowdy, and all enjoyed themselves. Exactly how it should be.

Minnesota has class acts like Joe Mauer who just signed a 8 year deal with the Twins....No Dak has cheap shot artist like Frat Party Frattin who just drank 18 beers last night and trashed his hotel room.

Anyone else notice during the game last night when the camera would show a No Dak hick fan in his pee green Sue jersey in the stands that the guy would always be about 400 pounds... seriously are all people in ND fat?

Eat **** No Dak fans, you will always be 2nd class citizens.

You could say I passed a few dollars during the games.

Yep that was my group, my neck is sore from looking up at the video board but then again I needed to pay attention to those numbers.

Arm-bars, cycling the puck, beer and plenty of weircioch kept things interesting all weekend!

Did anyone see what happened to that person that was lying in the street after the game to where the ambulance responded?

I only saw the aftermath...a handful of people crouched over someone and the rescue team there. I looked in the Pioneer Press and Star Tribune trying to find any mention of it, but found nothing. I didn't want to stop and join the rubber-neckers, but I hope whatever happened that no one was seriously injured...

All I know for sure is that I could see that it was a baby. When I got to the corner and waited to cross the next street, people were saying that a woman was crossing the street and tripped with the baby dropping it. They also said the baby was crying and moving, so hopefully it will be ok. As I said though, all I know for sure is that it was a baby.

The only crap I got was from UND fans, and only twice was it moronic non-friendly BS.

99% of the time, I've NEVER had a problem, despite some of their comments and (gasp) my comments. Every fanbase has their aholes. Learn to deal with it, it's not gonna change. Just remember that the majority of fanbases are okay people. Heck we had 5 WCHA teams/1 CCHA team/2 EZAC fans at our tailgate with zero problems (and I know some people disliked others, but let it go for the sake of having a good time).

Speaking of classy, educated fans. An SCSU fan near me gave our entire section the finger after the empty net goal. He also thinks that we're going to lose our first round game against.....Quinnipiac. And wouldn't shut up about how Frattin was the dirtiest player in the WCHA. I thought it was hilarious and I made sure to wave goodbye as he stormed off crying like a little girl.
