B1G+ to stream all WCHA games

St Thomas at Ohio State now shows on the BTNPlus schedule for Friday, but not Saturday.

Because... sure... :-)

The reason Saturday's game isn't listed yet is the Big Ten+ online schedule doesn't go that far in advance yet for any sport. It will probably show up tomorrow.

When I was looking earlier, the Wisconsin vs Rutgers volleyball for Saturday was most definitely there. I just looked again and now Ohio St vs St Thomas for Saturday is there as well.

(I am also able to find listing for stuff at least through Oct 23rd, though obviously, those listings are not complete.)

Wonder if they just added it or it was an app thing. My phone didn't show Saturday games in any sport under live game listings when I checked right before posting. Maybe another part of the website showed more?

One oddity is that if something is showing live on BTN, it isn't available on BTNPlus until the next day as a replay. Live BTN on your phone etc happens on the "BTN-to-go" app (or at least that was the case last year).

Another oddity, while BTN games aren't shown live on BTNPlus, you can watch games broadcast by Ballys live on BTNPlus. (also presuming it's the same as last year)

That's because they want you to subscribe to a package that includes the BTN channel; their marketing isn't apparently sophisticated enough to figure out if the Bally Sports channel is in the same package as BTN.

If you're one of the people who uses a streaming service like YouTubeTV or Hulu, it's incredibly helpful. BTN - which is basically still part of Fox Sports - is still on those services, while Sinclair has decided it isn't interested in having Ballys on any of them.

I bought the $50 package for wcha. Was hoping to also get tonight’s penn state game but don’t see it. Anyone else able to see it?

Ok I’m sorted. No penn state but I will get a ton of Lindenwood since they are honorary wcha members via their non conference schedule. :-)

I have an all-access account billed by the month, and yes I am getting the PSU St Lawrence game. Penn State being shut out 1-0 late in the third.

Thanks very much for sharing. I’ll give it a try; not the end of the world either way. Penn State was going to be a bonus for me.

As far as Lindenwood goes, you'll only see those games played at WCHA or Big Ten schools. For example, this weekend Wisconsin at Lindenwood will not be on B1G+ this weekend.

yep got it. I saw Lindenwood at St. Cloud is on deck example...

Realistically I want to watch Hurst and then there is some great hockey as always in the wcha and this year some more intriguing storylines than usual there. So this will be nice, and really $ 30 a month last year was just too much for a casual wcha fan. 50 a season is a game changer. I’m excited.
