My son was on a goalie on a 7 skater team a few times as a squirt b player, but luckily the teams they played weren't that capable and the goalie kept them in the game, though they lost because they spent all their energy in the D zone and didn't score. But there were a few times in tournies with the full complement of 13 players that with a good goalie that it was UGLY when they got overmatched. Ringing cow bells at goals at a squirt b game? Really?
UW made a few boneheaded plays again, PSU did score their only goal on one of them. There was a few stretches of zombieland skating by UW and they looked like a squirt b team out there, not really being able to connect on anything. At one point they were being outshot 17-12 in the 2nd period and I was getting p/o'ed, but they worked out of it.
Barnes could have had a highlight reel hattrick, oh so close.
Skoff kept them in the game.
