It's not just that... now even Tech, WMU, and UMD fans are chiming in. This is really crossing all lines and brining people together.

Of course, you wouldn't know anything about National Championship games since western's claim to fame is one conference playoff title in 26 years. Congrats. That's expected here. It won't be long before your program slides back into mediocrity and gets their wig split weekly in the NCHC.

That was a pretty good week, watching Michigan's $100 million sports teams getting their **** pushed in repeatedly by MAC schools that spend 1/10th as much. Beilein get that Ohio shoeprint off his forehead yet?

Also, in my digging for the championship numbers, I realized that both UND and Wisconsin have more men's hockey championships in the last 50 years than vaunted Michigan has in hockey, football and basketball COMBINED.

Did the boot print on your *** from Michigan's annual football beatdown of western come off yet?

No, I live in the world where I look at all of my team's history and don't try to hide it. Good or bad.

If this was a big 10 football discussion, you would be absolutely trashing Gopher fans for bringing up titles won pre-1960. You will deny it here, but we all know the truth.

Sweet. They just need to hand over the jug permanently because their football history can't match up to ours. Not to mention our traditions and all the teams and players out there that owe debts of gratitude to the mighy gopher football program. :D

Do you see what's happening here? Normally, even though I know why you posted this (and it's a win), I'd be tempted to make a snide remark. Right now? Nothing...

I feel somehow empty inside. :(

Football is a completely different animal. There isn't a tournament to crown a real national champion. Almost every national championship claim can be disputed. Including ones Michigan claims.

Aww, you guys skipped it to play Alabama.

....How did that work out for you? Sucks actually playing other schools with similar resources and realizing how 2nd rate you are after all, doesn't it? 110,000 fans, hundreds of millions of dollars, and you've got as many national titles in the modern era as Colorado.
