Poor kid, Selanne was the closest to him when he scored, but before he joined the celebration he grabbed the puck. Nick looked a little lonely when it took everyone else a few seconds to get to him.

That is pretty funny... I can't imagine going from being the best offensive player on your team at BU to 2 weeks later being on the ice with Selanne and Niedermayer. He's got to feel a little out of place still, right?

Podcast interview with Bonino following his first pro game. He'll be back at BU for summer semester and to workouts at Chez Boyle.

Any word on Cohen and Shattenkirk? Staying? Going? Talking? Also, if they sign now, can they still take classes? Is Bonino finishing his classes?

Even if they sign, they can complete their classes. Haven't heard much yet. Surprised that the Avs if interested haven't signed both already.

I heard that Bonino is coming back in the summer to take classes and work with Boyle.

Dude, read before you post, please (see the post right before yours).

As for the others, there was a post awhile ago talking about Cohen not happy about what the Avs are offering and...I'm blanking on what he/she said about Shatty (probably going/in talks?).

#3 will sign very soon, will most likely stay in school since they more than likely cannot give him nhl games

Hmm, anyone else think he may snag a different number than 63 by the start of next year if he keeps it up?

Between him and Yip, I feel like those AHL call-up style numbers aren't long for this world.

Well, he had one very good game and got some PP time. I'm not sure if we can say just yet that he's going to stick. :)

Why wouldn't they send him to Cleveland for playoff action with his buddy Quinnie?
