I was used to the old CHA pick 'em ... splits, sweeps, etc. This is harder to predict the outcome on the given night. Not that hard to figure the methodology, but it can be hard to make yourself follow that formula rather than gamble. And hard to make yourself pick against your own team ... I rarely pick against the Purps. ;)
