The biggest drivers of high scoring are:

Bentley - With an average squared score of approximately 34
Army - With an average squared score of approximately 14

The next group that is somewhat out of place, but not too far are:

Holy Cross ~ 9
Mercyhurst ~ 9
Niagara ~ 8

All other teams seem to be performing very close to their predictions, with approximate squares of .6 to 3.
 
AIC and Sacred Heart are dominating the Stats Leader board, holding 8 of the 10 spots.

Freshman Matteo Giampa from Canisius is second in overall stats for the Atlantic Conference with 14 points, with graduate student TJ Walsh from Sacred Heart leading the category with 15 points.

Giampa is joined by underclassman John Lundy from AIC each leading the league with 9 goals on the season, so far.

Senior netminder from Bentley, Nicholas Grabko, appears to be one the leading reasons Bently is doing so well, with a league leading save percentage of .944 and 2 shutouts on the year.
 
Watching Bentley Falcons get swept by Air Force Falcons this weekend in Waltham was disappointing for me. Air Force got 5-minute majors for head shots both nights, but Bentley was able to score only one PPG between them.

Ha, ha, ha, TUPD, I was wondering the same. I bumped Bentley up out of the AHA basement after the Falcons gave BU an OT scare at the beginning of the season, before AHA games commenced, whereas many here left Bentley at the bottom of the rankings. At the moment Bentley is hanging around 4th or 5th in AHA points, although several teams below them have games in hand. But I do not think that Bentley can now reach the basement this season.

How 'bout that! Goin' for the threepeat next year. Looks like watching those games on Flo paid off. Nice job on this again, Earl.

 
Funny, as I was thinking about being even more bullish on Bentley after watching them take BU into OT the week before Atlantic Hockey games began. Bentley will be hosting in the first round, which has been a while.
