"Michigan Tech's official school colors are metallic gold and silver. The sports colors are gold and black". Source.. IIRC, and I'm sure someone can back me up on this, the colors stemmed from the mining heritage of the school.

Jesus, you must be a moron if an NMU fan is defending the Tech fans against your drivel.

Holy Crap! The Copper Country Anthem has words?! I never knew that, and I am even in the pep band. I think we should learn them and sing along. :D

I am pretty sure I've heard the colors are metallic because of the mining history of Tech once or twice before.

When people look at MTU jerseys they don't say "huh, gold and silver." that's Tech's way of churching up **** and duct tape. Just like people say the ocean is blue, flash the ocean is green. MTU can say gold and silver all they want but those loser capes are urine and duct tape, **** poor just like the huskies.

I can't argue with you about that jersey looking like it has a line of ducktape around it...as far as urine, you really need to drink more water if your **** looks like that.

Who's got a good picture of the current black jerseys? Johnson doesn't have one yet apparently?

I am going to go on record and say that I like the MTU hockey jersey's. I think they are awesome and wouldn't mind owning one.

Funny you mention that jersey...a certain WCHA columnist had one of those jerseys from her ex, and she sent it to me.

Which years was that jersey used?
