You are correct. Vegas won the betting house this weekend. Good on TI and AV16 and congrats to them on a good showing. I know players or coaches on 5 of the 8 teams there. Shows you that there appears to be a lot more parity this year amongst the top teams. Anyone can win any weekend. Simply good for the game.

This is an understatement!! Buzzy has stirred, shaken, and swallowed the Assabet Cool Aid for a long time. I am sure the Whoopie Pie would help. Of course, Whoopie Pies usually soothes most things that ail you.

Guilty as charged! Hux as we know is a huge women's hockey fan except for Assabet Valley and thats fine. I would have to say the kool aide must work though! 33 national championships and counting.

Cannot argue that!! Certainly, a lot of good Players as well as some good Coaches have laced up their skates in Concord.

Hey now. I'm not anti-Assabet, I'm anti Assabet/Ex-Assabet parent "Assabet Is/Isn't The Be All and End All" that resulted in flame fests on the Mass/New England forum (soon to be resurrected).

My loyalitly to Assabet is obvious, but I don't see that as a bad thing. I try not to be one of those Assabet parents (although every program has them we just have more). The growth of the girls game has brought other programs in our state closer and closer to our program (obviously a good thing for women's hockey) and has ramped up the retoric. Hux if you bring back the old board I imagine it will get worse on both sides before it gets better. I have and will continue to root and defend the program and I will always drink the kool aide.
