Okay. It is doing it this morning. Stuck on the "Checking for new mail in subscribed folders on example@example.com. Checking for new mail in subscribed folders on example@example.com" No errors reported, just stuck. I can get it going, but at least it is not happening every day now.

Whenever that happens to me I usually need to close Outlook and kill the remaining process in Task Manager before restarting.

Exactly. It just tends to happen too often and gets annoying when you do it everyday or twice a day. First world problem, yes, but still a problem.
