Freshman DU forward Dylan Gambrell, Future Pio Kevin Conley named to NHL Central Scouting's Watch List for 2016 Entry Draft:

Paul Stastny, after breaking his foot in October, back on the ice for the Blues Monday. Tyler Bozak had the tying goal and an assist in a shootout loss on Monday. And Zac Larraza was the 1st star for Manchester (ECHL).

DU's Century Club should be getting new members this year.
Nolan Zajac with 85 points and Trevor Moore with 84 points should easily top the century mark.
Q. Shore needs 24 more points to hit triple digits. Not impossible...

Perfect results against Bye this weekend--Pios unbeaten streak is 6.

Tyler Bozak and Jason Zucker lead Pio alums with 14 points this season.
Matt Carle has yet to score a point. :mad::(

Paul Stastny won 81% of faceoffs (13 of 16) in his 2nd game back from injury. He's only played 8 games, but has 7 points.

Congrats. Definitely going to be a very nice player for you. Still growing into his body and with our luck he will probably suddenly takeoff and put up 100 pts before the end of the year.

I have to say that we are starting to feel a little like some Nacho teams are just waiting around to see who Wisconsin really wants and then offering them scholarships, though. Probably saves a lot on the ol' recruiting budget. Pretty sound strategy, really. ;)

I don't want to clog up this nice, neat thread, but wouldn't it make more sense for you guys to just steal from each other?

I mean, hey, the whole WCHA thing was really nice. And it was fun while it lasted, but let's not ruin the memories. You both have to realize that it's over now. In the past. So how about just leaving us out of it and moving on? Preferably without any more of our recruits.

The only common thread running through players decommiting from the Badgers and moving up to become a DU Pioneer is Eaves.
That should tell you something.:rolleyes:

Should be another great weekend of hockey between these two. A pre-break test of what they each have. Hawks will either win by slim margins or get beat by larger margins, IMO.

A couple of Berry's assistants will be at UW on a recruiting trip. Hopefully, that will not be a factor.

Thanks, but Fighting Hawks don't eat birdseed; they are meat eaters and love Pios.

Fighting Hawks prefer gophers above all other foods, but there was no season for them this year, so they took more than their usual fill of Pios.
