Evan Cowley named NCHC Goalie of the Week with his perfect save percentage of 1.000, shutout win Friday night. Tanner Jaillet was also nominated with a .978 save percentage on Saturday night. Jarid Lukosevicius, with 2 power play goals including the game winner, was nominated for Rookie of the Week.
Signed--Forwards Kevin Conley, Youngstown (USHL) and Liam Finlay Vernon (BCHL) both are expected in the fall.

Zucker had scored earlier in the game in 18 GP 6-8-14.He has more assists than he did all last season (5).

Patrick Wiercioch also left last night's Ottawa game with a possible concussion. He is doubtful for their Saturday game.

The good news: 5 of the 6 goals scored Saturday were by freshmen.
The bad news: Box score shows Butcher's penalty was a disqualification--that would put him out of Friday's game against the Fighting Sioux Hawks.
Monty hopes the week off will give VanVoorhis and Moore time to get better. Mostrom is injured--wondered why he hadn't played. Didn't mention Hawkinson's status.
