All Things Denver, XXX1X

Re: All Things Denver, XXX1X

Here is Chamber's article from yesterday. http://www.denverpost.com/colleges/ci_27763939/du-hockey-play-boston-college-ncaa-tournament-opener
I'm wondering about Joey's injury. I heard the Grand Forks Herald beat writer interviewed between periods Saturday and he was talking about how people in the press box Friday we're noticing he wasn't 100%. I felt that way the night he returned against UMD. Didn't have his usual mobility/agility. I'm thinking he's about 75%.

Re: All Things Denver, XXX1X

Hey do you guys have an official watch party set up at a bar or something? The RIT alum chapter of Denver is putting something together, but we don't want to step on your toes.

All of the bars around DU will likely have something going on for DU. If you avoid that area, you should be fine. I'm sure an official official list of DU watch parties will be announced by Wednesday.

BC couldn't score in a whorehouse with a fistful of twenties.

From Nick

Had some interesting info that was tweeted out and forwarded to me by a colleague of mine, thought it was interesting for some perspective only.

I present some statistics with no comment - the last line was my own calculation.

Number of seniors:
7 - BC, DU, NDak, SCSU, Yale
6 - HU, MIA, MTU, MIN, Mankato

Top senior scoring classes this year:
145 MIN
136 MIA
132 Ndak
131 DU
124 Mankato

Re: All Things Denver, XXX1X

Looks like these pundits' favorites for the FF are DU, UND, BU and Harvard. The UND pick was unanimous, and the BU pick was nearly unanimous. Is UND's bracket that weak where everyone would pick them to advance, or is the power of playing in Fargo so overwhelming that none can stand up to it?

I know, the herd is way overboard with the Sioux right now. Something happened in the CHN bracket contest. Nobody is talking about how the Cloudies are in a groove. The one prediction that really jumped out at me is Adam W's BC pick. Where is that coming from? Jerry crush? Interesting that 5/8 picked Harvard coming out of the Mid-West. 5/8 also picking the Pios!

Since Harvard got all the injured back they have been extremely Hot. But Mankato will be hard to beat.Glad we don't start with them. If the sioux played like they did Sat., that region will be open for an upset. Cloudies.vs.Tech could be the game to watch. Would love to see UMD beat gophers again. And then take it to BU Terriers.

This Pio team could make its way to the Frozen Four. No slow starts and "Pioneer Hockey" all the way.
