All American List Released

Re: All American List Released

I don't know enough about these players individual accomplishments to comment, but I am surprised that Oswego had only Selleck and Elmira was shut out....

I should have started out by saying congrats to all that are on the list - a great honor.....

I take it St. Louis Park, MN, has a pretty good jr. (as in kids) hockey program!

Re: All American List Released

Look for a reprimand - or worse from the NCAA - the American Hockey Coaches Association ought to know better :D

Seventeen different schools — including three participating this weekend in the NCAA Men's Division III "Frozen Four" at Lake Placid, NY — can boast 2010 RBK HOCKEY DIVISION III MEN’S ALL-AMERICAN selections in the starry squads announced today.

Re: All American List Released

Elmira did deserve some love and I wonder why Oswego got only one player in. Lousy list.

As I posted on facebook, Selleck in my mind got robbed. I could have seen MAYBE putting Klinger ahead of him, but just like a few other Lakers..they were robbed on the selections. Some of the best finishers DIII hockey has seen in some years, and 1 guy...Thanks for p***n off the Lakers....

Re: All American List Released

Good catch!

Well, I think that releases us to now start calling it that!

It would appear so, or this is hypocrisy ;)

2.Coaches are responsible for knowing, understanding, and following all rules of the game as established and directed by the NCAA Ice Hockey Rules Committee, the respective NCAA Ice Hockey Championship Committee, and the conference in which the coach participates.

3.Dissatisfaction with NCAA or conference policies and/or their implementation may only be addressed through the proper channels established by the NCAA or respective conference. It is never proper to express dissatisfaction through the media or any other source.

4.Both the letter and the spirit of all rules must be adhered to by the coaches.

5.It is the coach's responsibility to make sure that all players understand the rules, their spirit, and the only legitimate processes by which to affect change. The letter and spirit of all rules must be adhered to by all participants in The Game.
