Alex Todd leaving Castleton

Re: Alex Todd leaving Castleton

I would absolutely, 100%, rather live in Rutland than Philly.

However, if I were a D3 coach, I would rather coach at Neumann than Castleton.

Re: Alex Todd leaving Castleton

No matter who gets the position, its going to be a tough act to follow.

It will be interesting to see the route they take. Certainly there was some controversy (at least among Norwich fans, and some others) as to whether Coach Todd coached an aggressive style of play or a dirty one. Will the new coach emphasize skill and speed, or will he emphasize strength and hitting?

Castleton Press Release on Alex Todd leaving Castleton. I was talking to another D3 player in the ECAC E playoffs who had played Castleton and reported Castleton did in fact play a very aggressive brand of hockey. But I give Coach Todd a lot of credit for defeating the big 3 in the Champlain Valley, Norwich, Middlebury, and Plattsburgh. Also I recall a game in Plattsburgh a couple of years ago when they beat D3 final 4 year Utica.

Re: Alex Todd leaving Castleton

Hawk, *** are you talking about? Defeating the big 3 in the Champlain Valley? So they won a few games, they lost a LOT more games against those 3 than they won. You , my friend, are an idiot.:D

All I said was that Castleton defeated Norwich, Middlebury, and Plattsburgh and that is a fact. I didn't say they had a better team just that they defeated each one which I think is a big deal for a new program. Check your record books the last few years??

Re: Alex Todd leaving Castleton

May be a fact , somewhere, but last year, here are the scores; 12/1/12 Nor 2- Cas 1, 2/8/13 Nor 6- Cas 1, 3/1/13 Nor 6- Cas 2...Here's a quarter, buy a clue.
