Some comedy there when the Alaska goalie skated off the ice thinking there was a delayed penalty against RPI, but there was not. Unfortunately RPI couldn’t score against the goalie-less 5 men for the 20 seconds or so he was off the ice

Since WRPI isn't doing the hockey game, I was going to watch the basketball team's game, but apparently the host school of the basketball tournament is not providing a live stream tonight.

So, I'll follow the hockey action on LiveStats along with Ralph.

Seems as though RPI is doing a little better in the second period - getting more shots on goal and winning more faceoffs.

And as soon as I make that positive comment, Alaska scores another go-ahead goal,

Looked like Alaska ran some pick play off the faceoff. RPI lost the face off clean and the goal scorer was left alone in the slot and hit a one timer. Smith was yelling at the ref after the goal.

That was a really tough period for RPI. Alaska is a good skating team and RPI cannot cope with it right now. 2 shots for RPI in the period.
