Alaska Anchorage at Minnesota State 2/6 & 2/7

Re: Alaska Anchorage at Minnesota State 2/6 & 2/7

Anybody out there?

Yes, just planning my trip. Is there any weather predicted for the weekend? Last Saturday got a little hairy on the way home.

Anyway, the last time we met the Seawolves, in Anchorage, it wasn't pleasant. Hoping (expecting, really) that this weekend goes better.

I think it's reasonable to expect such now. UAA isn't a very good hockey team. You're at home. It must be four points.

Weird, all of the UAA posters who chirped all summer and spring are nowhere to be found.

Wha? Maybe at the Fairbanks people.

Just not excited about this. The season is getting out of reach and I don't see it getting any better this weekend.

I actually like Jim and Suze, so that was more directed at uaafanblog or whatever that guys name is.

UAA made the Mavs work, and did a nice job converting on the power play. The Mavericks need to clean up the penalties and the kill. Regardless, it's a three goal win and a very business like approach to the night. Must sweep tomorrow.

We started each period well, and then UAA's tough, physical play caused some mental breakdowns and penalties. The big difference seemed to be that we have a dozen guys who can make plays, and UAA maybe a handful
