Don't feel bad. This is the first game I watched this season after the first three. A co-worker convinced me they were good this year. :D

I seem to recall a bad loss (or maybe tie) to a very new Nebraska-Omaha program. Then we can get into the double digit beatings of the early 80's. But I think to truly be embarrassing the formula has to look like:

(Maine's Expectations) + (Score) + (Opponent's Record) + (Opponent's Reputation) = Embarrassment factor

Sure, Minnesota 16 - Maine 2 from 1986 is embarrassing, but it wasn't shocking.

3rd period underway, no noticeable uptick in effort.

UAH penalty about a minute and a half in. Maine is 0-5.

Call me an optimist but if Maine gets one on this PP the floodgates may open. It's a 60 minute game.
