aic....out of the basement

Re: aic....out of the basement

They seem to have brought in some better talent then in previous years hope they no what to do with it.They have a freshmen leading the team in scoring from the MJHL. They need to sit some of the older guys that have not been able to get it done.

Re: aic....out of the basement

The team is being coached right now by the grad assistant from last year mike field. i have heard he has done a great job getting the guys motivated and working together as a team. thus far, they have seemed to respond; take two very good ecac teams to the limit and now making a statement game vs. holy cross. hopefully they can keep it up

Re: aic....out of the basement

AIC controlled the play in the 1st and 2nd period vs Holy Cross and played the infamous prevent defense well enough to not really allow many quality shots by Holy Cross. I am curious to know if their assistant coach from last year brought this new group in?

Yes, their Coach, Gary Wright is sidelined due to having both knees operated on (If I remember correctly) He was at the game, watching from up above.

Their goal song seems to be "Yellow Submarine" this year. There was a fair number of students at the game also.

It still annoys me I can listen to the West Virginia/South Florida game from 1170 AM on the way home with little static, but you can't get 1030 AM out of Boston on the ride home to Troy.

I realize that Coach Wright has been there a long time - but after taking their first 3 point weekend in probably a long time, this guy should get a shot at the Head Coach if he can keep it up some.

Re: aic....out of the basement

Can we change the title of this thread to AIC - back in the basement where we belong?

Re: aic....out of the basement

When honeybees sting someone, they lose their stinger. Maybe that is what happened to the Yellowjackets.

Re: aic....out of the basement

The only question I have left for you is do you hunt him down like the paperboy in "Better Off Dead" or do you go after him like Stewie went after Brian on Family Guy?
