I guess as I do the math, there is no strategic reason to pick a team for all 3 games. The most you can get in the first round is 4 points (1 for winner of the each of the 2 games, 1 for it going to 3 games, 1 for the winner of the series). If you pick a split in the first 2, but get it wrong, you would get 1 point for the 'backwards split,' 1 for the game 3 winner (presuming you get it right), 1 for the 3 games, 1 for the series winner. So still 4 points. If you get the split right though, its 6 points (2 for the higher seed winning 2 games, 2 for the lower seed winning 1, 1 for 3 games, 1 for the series winner).

Maybe I should rework how points are awarded for next year? thoughts?

Bonus points for getting the number of games right.

Maybe everybody makes picks for the three games and get the points based off the current system to make it easier, if that's possible and so everybody's covered if the series goes three games but hey only picked two.
