One team is going to the NCAAs for the first time. RIT comes in on a 9-game win streak. They took the season series 3-1 from the Pioneers. Sacred Heart has won 11 of their last 14.

RIT is currently a TUC so some teams may be impacted by the results of tonight's game.

Edit: Just occurred to me there will be TV timeouts as a result like normal RIT home games. It will be interesting to see how Sacred Heart responds to this

Puck has been dropped and we're underway. TV feed is behind like always, but a little more so with the Time Warner broadcast.

SHU gets a scoring opportunity to open the game. Nick Johnson.

The replays show it was a vicious hit. Mazzei was down on the ice for a while, went head first into the boards.
