Abortion: Why Not Thoughts and Prayers?

Re: Abortion: Why Not Thoughts and Prayers?

They sell men's chastity devices in sex shops.

Perfect. All cishet men get one, and their girlfriends/spouses get the key.

Re: Abortion: Why Not Thoughts and Prayers?

All Republican cishet men get one, and their girlfriends/spouses get the key.

Fixed your post. We treat our women with dignity and deserve dignity. The Nazis treat their women like dogs and should be treated like dogs.

Amber

It works that way without any devices.

One can jerk off with the device on?

The point you are missing Joe is that the anti-choice crowd is all about controling women's bodies. Forced wearing of a chastity device would be a way for women to control men's bodies so the analogy works in a way.

Are you actively working towards the Foxtonesque types of bitterness?

Stop it. She's not anywhere near Foxton's level.

Foxton actively trolled several individuals, and never added anything of value to the board in her final 2-3 years before the bannination.

While I don't disagree with your post, MT is doing a fair amount of trolling as well.

She's also fighting for her life so I'm thinking those who are made guilty or ashamed by that can suck it.

Oppressors don't get to tell the oppressed how to feel anymore. This makes some people very unhappy.

She isn't fighting for her life on here. In fact, to read her posts it would be a fair assumption that she probably as many friends and as much support here as anywhere else in her life.

Show me again where I said "here."

She can speak for herself. I don't mind it when she's snarky here to white straight men. I'm amazed she'll talk to us at all after what we've put her through. My advice is bear that in mind and try not to be so fragile. Our solace is we've run the f-cking world according to our whims for 500 years.

"What we've put her through?" What exactly have we put her through? Enlighten me. I think with maybe the exception of Flaggy, who is crazy, there have been nothing but expressions of support for MT on this board.

And no, you didn't say "here." But "here" is the only relevant place since it's "here" that the trolling has occurred.

I haven't responded to her trolling, directly. But honestly given the level of support that she's received here as opposed to what she is likely receiving out in the rest of the world, I've found it a little odd.

Re: Abortion: Why Not Thoughts and Prayers?

What I was trying to point out is that cishet men can pull out their swords and plunge them into wherever they want. Maybe that ability should be taken away from all of you. After all, if your solution to abortion is women should keep their legs closed and not wear that dress, I think it's time restrictions should be forced upon the sperm side of the equation.

Re: Abortion: Why Not Thoughts and Prayers?

"What we've put her through?" What exactly have we put her through?

What have straight white men put Miss T, and all the women like her (and for that matter all women) through?

Please tell me you're joking.

It does cost a dinner and some disingenuous compliments and an hour or so of listening.

Have you ever listened to another human? For 60 minutes? Sartre was mistranslated -- hell is audible people.

He’s not joking. He’s saying that since the white men are nice to her here, she shouldn’t be mad about the rest of the white men treating her otherwise

Hovey, I know you're saying #notallmen, but enough of them. It's generally cishets who get my pronouns wrong ON PURPOSE. It's cishets who slide into my direct messages on social media, trying to have sex with me. It's cishet men who try to break up the special relationship I have with the women in my life.

Once again, not all men, but enough.

Oh, for crying out loud. Here, I'll type slow.

Sure, straight (an odd term in and of itself) white men, or probably straight men in general, are certainly the bain of someone like Miss T. But if you are in a group that happens to include a number of straight white men in it, and they have been supportive of you, doesn't it seem a bit odd that you'd troll them?

Also, solid advice about not being so fragile, coming from someone who admittedly runs crying to the Board about other posters being mean.

No. Not at all. I'd invite them to help me troll.

Because while a few of us here may have attained some small measure of empathy and understanding specifically because we have been interacting with Miss T, a living, breathing person who is wounded by the prevailing norm of demonizing/shunning/patronizing women in her position, the majority of straight white men are still utter hateful dipsh-ts judging by their votes. That's her lived reality, not an abstraction. We can decide to discuss it in our quiet rooms, or not. She, and all women, have it in their face 24/7/365.

I can't imagine how tiresome that must get. We are lucky snark is all we get for it. Were it I a mix of Molotov cocktails would also be called for.
