With Marvin, waiting for the replay is just a delay tactic. So far, video replay convicts him every time (Genoway, Geoffrion). It's more interesting to read Husky fans falling over themselves trying to excuse it.

I was at the game and also DVRed the game on Duluth's My9. Looking at the replay, Jack Connolly passes the puck to the point and Marvin gives him a quick two handed chop to the upper arm. Connolly immediately goes down in pain. The chop took place near the offensive zone face off dot and ref Bokal was in the corner near the extended goal line. Not sure how he missed it, but the puck was on that side so the other ref outside the offensive zone should have seen it...or one of the linesman should have seen it. But I gotta say, it was quick chop by Marvin and he got away with it. Bravo

the point is these are not pros, and like the commercials say, 99.34% will do something besides pro sports for a living

It was a quick slash to the upper arm between the elbow and shoulder pads as the ref looked the other way. Jack went down immediately as I'm sure it hurt like heck. He was off the ice for a few minutes then returned however did not take any faceoffs for the remainder of the game. It was cheap, but not dirty in my opinion. If he had got him on the wrist it would've been a whole different story.

You're so ignorant and unknowing it's not even funny. Some of the best and most knowledgable coaches in sports have never played the game they are coaching. But please, continue spouting off about anything and everything, as it gives us all a laugh during the day. I'm not the smartest man, but I have more knowledge about hockey in my little finger than you will ever have. And that's really sad.
