What you are feeling is very normal. I was in surgery for 5 hours for stage 4 endo. No fun. So these injections, are they to put her in a pseudo menopause? I know that is one treatment option. Our daughter has infertility too, she had a miscarriage a couple months ago and it was heartbreaking.

My dad is being released from the hospital today. They found in his intestines polyps that ruptured so they clamped them. Now to find a way so they don't rupture again.

It is a very hard thing. I know what you're going through. We ended up going the route of fostering and adopting, and am in the process of moving toward adopting a little boy who we've had in our home about a year and a half. It's not a route for everyone, and it has its challenges, and ups and downs, but it is a way to not only have children, but also provide a loving home for kids who otherwise might not be in more challenging circumstances growing up.

I get a text from my mom. The doctor decided to keep my dad in the hospital for one more night to monitor his blood levels. Apparently he lost too much this time, but he sounds great over the phone.

Holding my breath. It sounds as if Mum les has decided to go to Asst living for a month until she can wt bear. Phew. Praying hard this works out.

Moving day. To asst living until she can wt bear. THis has not been a pleasant journey so far. Very grateful for my brother who is driving down from VT and back up just for today.

Any chance assisted living could turn into a longer term option? I had a grandma who never wanted to into assisted living and then when she had to for awhile, she was ok with staying in that type of situation when she could have possibly gone home.

No cash. Very long story. Basically she planned surgery with no back up plan, despite everyone in family telling her (multiple times, written and talking) she needed to figure out what would happen after surgery. It was know she couldn't wt bear for at least 6 wks. She is now in shock and awe that she can't go home, can't believe no one warned her this could happen and it is everyone's fault but her own. Hopefully the surgery was successful or it will be even more of a shi7show. Won't know for another 2-4 weeks.
Very sad. She has been playing Scarlet O'Hara, everything will work out!!!, not doing anything to help the situation and Rhett just said Frankly Scarlet, I don't give a dam.

Really depressing. Many of these people live in absolutely squalid conditions and to have something like this happens just seems like unnecessary cosmic cruelty. The people here are really quite warm as a group despite the conditions and the recent history.

Suze, my apologies for not answering right away. Been busy. She's supposed to cycle today or tomorrow. If she's late, I'm not going to hold out hope. I've been fooled one too many times into believing only to get burned. She would have to take Lupron. (Is that the drug you are referring to?) It's supposed to be $900 a shot and we're getting the first two and her mom will get the next one to reach the $3,000 deductible. The shots will then be $40 for the last three. The Mrs. had a miscarriage in Oct. 2011 (Halloween) The worst part is the ER doctor said my wife was making it up. I was so mad that I wanted to punch him out, but I restrained myself. Just so upset that we can't get anywhere and put all this blood and treasure into this. I'll send some good vibes your daughter's way. Thanks.

Need some prayers for my family. Mum still not wt bearing and can't until after her asst living lease is up. Now someone else (not me) was just laid off. :(
