What's your point? Tech is no less our arch rival than they were 20 years ago. LSSU is in the same conference as us in all sports and that rivalry is nowhere near as intense as it is with Tech.

Actually, this has always made me wonder. Especially seeming the glory days of NMU and LSSU hockey are at pretty much the same time. I am just going to assume that MTU is the choice because you have won a championchip more recently than them.

While I have no clue where LSSU is, comparitively (and don't care; remember, I'm a MN fan), I would have to guess proximity.

Ehh, MTU isn't *that* much closer, but yes, it is closer.
I think it's just a matter of tradition.

I know you said you don't care, but it's about 170 miles east of Marquette.

To be honest, I don't know or remember why we're bigger rivals with Tech. I do know I'm the rare NMU fan who hates the Lakers more than the Huskies (and this has nothing to do with the whole Techie boyfriend thing--it's been this way for quite some time)

If you're what NMU has to offer...I don't blame her for dating "one of those losers"

I'll go out on a limb and call you an exception though...just based on other NMUers I've met.
