I guess I have less of an issue with it since it's not harming the overall public. I worry more about polygamy when it's one man or one woman spreading their genes to a massive number of people. It's why I also support sperm/egg banks putting caps on how many people can be born with one person's genes.

There is a public interest in preventing that. This, I dunno. Why not?

Feel bad for Kep since he held out longest giving Flaggy the benefit of the doubt. For that he's now apparently a member of the Third Reich. :rolleyes: Does the board still ban posters?

And if we want an American analogue to the Nazis, where would we find a hyper-nationalist, racial supremacist movement obsessed with the military and traditional roles for women? :p

When you break the name down it doesn't sound so bad, but names are just names and often don't express the reality of what's behind the name.

Kep is pretty hard left in some ways, but saying he is a Nazi is as silly as those on here who argue that Hitler was a Christian and what he did should be lain on the doorstep of Christianity.

You're picking a single instance, literally the exception, and trying to portray it as what, exactly? Are you expecting those three Canadians living in Canada to become the new norm within the United States?

Your statement itself contains the contradiction (not of you, but of Flaggy). I'm left wing. Naziism is a right wing ideology (regardless of what your crazy uncle's chain mail tries to argue). If people want to hurl Godwin-like brickbats at me, they should stick to Dirty Commie! It's wrong, but at least it's on the correct side of the aisle.

Which of course isn't what I said, but don't let that stop you.

When people have something to say in response, however inane and ill-thought out around here, the responses typically roll in at a breakneck pace. Not on this one. The lack of response (save one as noted) was quite striking.
