I am a sweet naive baby but this time around, IF we have a 2028 election, I feel like the strategy isn’t this Newsom/Whitmer “I disagree with the president on many issues but we worked together to get things done for my state” but more of a Bernie/AOC/Walz vibe of “fuck this guy we are DONE.”

Right, but I think Xitter used to just show a bad link icon, and maybe other services did, too. That’s the interesting part to me - the preservation of the link’s text after the post has been deleted vs just “erasing” it from history.
 
In an interesting twist, it has come out that Democratic Candidate for the IL-09 district Kat Abughazaleh is in a long term relationship with The Onion CEO Ben Collins.

Nope. She's still rocking a great campaign, but there have been some undertones floated on social media that her campaign isn't the grassroots wonderchild it first appeared.

I mean, she already had a following on social media. Or are you saying this initial “look at how well she’s doing fundraising!” commentary is less 27 dollar per person and more big money?
 
She raised money on her own...Ben Collins is not megadonor. She is a social media personality who raised money from her following.

And even if she didn't...so?
 
I just wish she was trying to primary someone who more deserves it or isn't running again. It would also help if she actually lived in the district...

The Dems saw that David Hogg was anti-gerontocracy and said his PAC might primary currently seated Dems (something a majority of Dem voters agree on rn) and they said "Fuck off forever" almost immediately, and got rid of him in a way almost custom designed to lose voters and empower the right lol.
