Cortina is a re-tread from '56. It's kind of a hoof from Milan, so the pairing is interesting. I assume Milan was a concession/bribe to the IOC and their need to be wined, dined, and boinked by fashion models.

Venice looks closer but Milan is a rich city.
Look at how close Innsbruck and Garmisch are to Cortina. That's 3 different Olympic sites from 3 different countries, all within an area the size of Minnesota. Europe is so cute.
I don't think anybody wants to be boinked by fashion models. They looks like insects who have had too much heroin. Now Calgary cowgirls, that I can see.
