2026 Elections: To the Midterms and Beyond!

CNBC just aired a piece discussing how Maine, and the fishing industry, have been hit hardest by the tariffs. They talked to people in the industry and just man-in-the-street and found thst the majority of them agree its the Trump/Republican fault, but they're still voting for Collins.

One person flat out told CNBC that he hopes the Dems win every house and senate race, but he's still voting Collins.


Really can't wait to wake up November 4th and find out Republicans retain congress.

JD Vance does not believe that the Trump's have been enriched by him being President. That's as fucking dumb as it gets. And anyone who believes that is just plain stupid.

Dems will take over congress. Senate I'm much less optimistic.
The race in Maine was over as soon as Platner dropped out.

A complete shitbag. He did this crap with Nikki Haley's daughter being on TikTok, now he has to make Amy Acton relive her childhood sexual abuse. Her narcissist biological mother lost custody of her, that's how credible the allegations were.

 
It's a long read, but well worth the time. I don't think there is anything "earth shattering" in the article that we didn't already know, but it lays out how Trump and the DOJ are laying the ground work for November 4th, even if it has no legal standing.

How bipartisan of her. Troy Jackson at 65% on polymarket, CNBC piece notwithstanding.
KY-6 is a good bellwether for Democrats’ blue wave or lack thereof on 11.03.2026. Polls close at 6p EST in half the state, including this seat, so results will be back relatively quickly. Most national forecasters have it as lean R, but some local forecasters think Dembo (D) is ahead.
