And in other news, Drew's boo is 'concerned', er, I mean, outraged at the Pro Publica piece detailing her pay for play corruption.

No word from her lobbyist hubby.

Jesus fuck, treated recycled sewer water has been safe since the 1930s. It's a chemical; you just have to do it correctly. It's not magic. Arizonans have been drinking treated recycled sewer water for 90 years.

Everyone on a normal municipal water system is drinking recycled sewer water. That's why we have water treatment facilities.

It's like the morons who dumped an entire reservoir because one guy peed in it (and tried to charge him for it), ignoring both 1) all the wildlife that do the exact same thing every day, and 2) his pee would've amounted to less than one part per hundred million without any treatment.

I think he ultimately won, but still had to pay for an attorney.
 
The Public Sentiment Institute (TPSI) and Patriot Polling have each been suspended from aggregate polling for lying about their methodology, fabricating poll data, and just generally being chips off the old Dump. Both are run by right wingers in their early 20s who have been celebrated on conservative media as Republican rising stars.

TPSI is founded and run by a Florida International student activist and anti-LGBTQ game developer, Lester Tellez. Tellez is currently charged with two third-degree felony counts of battery on a person with a mental or physical disability. In the past he has assaulted a minor and committed plagiarism by claiming other people's work to compose his student government proposals. TPSI lied about being non-partisan and committed fraud in their financial disclosures. They were funded by candidates to release their internal campaign polls, heavily skewed towards their candidates, as if they were real representative polls. In one case their LA mayoral poll was included in aggregates and reported nationally despite being 30 points off the other polls and eventual actuals.

Patriot Polling is founded and run by Columbia University (oh thank god not us for once!) student campaign manager Lucca Ruggier, who also works on the Hill as a Republican staffer. They cut out the middle man and just flat out made up their results, admitting they had taken survey results and simply altered them. Luca hasn't developed any homophobic games and hasn't assaulted anybody yet, but he's only 20, give him time.

So, yeah. Republican rising stars.

My guess is it came up in an interview and so they asked him who his favorite drag queen is, and conservatives blew it up and ran with it from there. Now he's "obsessed" with drag and trans kids.
