The NPI formula weighs Win%/SOS at a 25/75, so that's just not true
The 25/75 split is misleading. There's an order of magnitude more variation amongst Win % than SOS. One win can be the difference of 3-4 Win % "points", whereas 3-4 SOS "points" is the difference between a strong and weak SOS.
