What makes you think it would be any different?

You simply never accept this one fact -- the schools themselves vote on these policies. It's not like the NCAA is some mysterious, dictatorial organization. The schools themselves vote on these policies.

And if the NCAA "went away" whatever takes their place will have the same schools voting on polices. And they are going to vote in the same policies. What makes yout think the schools want anything different if they don't vote for that difference now?

Again, that's fine you feel that way.

But you keep mentioning this great D3 awakening. It's never happening. The schools voted for this system (and quite frankly, they keep doubling down like voting for the minimum size of a conference to receive an AQ from seven to six, when everyone told them that was a terrible idea). And they will continue to vote for this system.

So I ask again, what makes you think it will change ... when the schools vote for this?
