2025-26 Schedules Thread

Saw on CHN that Ivies now allowed 30 games, not 29. Happening so late, not much impact for this year. Some of the Ivies that had already scheduled an exhibition against other Ivies will make those games count now.

I'm sure the Northeastern problem stems from finding a place to play the 2nd half of their schedule. Pretty sure Matthews will close in December.

As for Merrimack...who knows?

It is probably finding the place for when Merrimack plays at Northeastern. Harvard's Bright is available for their supposed game late in January as far as I can tell but only because the women's team is playing in the afternoon. May be something else holding that back.

Nothing like waiting until the absolute last minute. LOL

So that leaves Northeastern. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there still has not been an official announcement about where they are going to play after 12/13/25.

The fact that they moved NU/Mack to a Sunday probably means they found a venue free on Sunday, so NU schedule release should be imminent...........i hope..... :)

Is there anything in the rules that says a team must release their entire schedule before the season starts. If not, couldn't NU just wait on announcing their home game locations until they are close to be played.

i didn't do a deep dive, but there are general rules about when schedules have to be finalized and announced. That said, maybe in this case, the NCAA and HE will give NU a one-time extension for present circumstances. (i had been told by someone at NU that the schedule had to be out NLT Aug 1, not sure if that was an internal thing, or the league rules).

To my knowledge, Northeastern has not publicly released their schedule, probably because of...not knowing where they will play after Matthews supposedly closes in December. Rumors are rampant at this point. It could be kind of a hodgepodge of places, depending on availability, or it could be one place. We've all heard Harvard and either Agganis or Walter Brown, I even heard rumblings about them playing a couple of the Saturday games at the Garden (say at 2:00, before the Bruins play at 7:00 or 7:30). At this point, only Northeastern and (maybe) their opponents know for sure.
