Might this be the graph you are referring to? Clearly Sic will not buy it because the article is from the New York Times and I'm sure he thinks that paper is a correct representation of the left in our country.

It is without doubt and easily provable by the facts, as well as easy for anyone who is an honest broker (Sic is decidedly not an honest broker, he is perhaps the most disengenous poster left who regularly posts on these threads) that our two major political parties are to the right of where most other nations' "left" and "right" major parties reside, and for the republican party it is faaaaaaaaaaaar to the right. Hell, most people who study the matter are now saying that the United States calling itself a democracy is a reach because one of the two major political parties is clearly NOT in favor of democracy or maintaining democratic norms.

I think the only question about Sic is among which 75% that Kep mentions is where belongs. Is he one of the lying ones or one of the stupid ones. He does a good enough job obfuscating in his posts that it could be either. It is clearly one or the other though.

And this is the perfect post that illustrates why you are not an honest broker. It's a shame really, because echo chambers are not productive. I would welcome more people on an opposite end of the political sprectrum if they were willing to post useful things that were tethered to reality. It's why most of us (I suspect) consider Hovey to be a welcome poster here no matter how much crap we throw his direction. I don't know how many have you on ignore (frankly I don't know why I am not one of them) but I bet it's way more than have Hovey on ignore.

AOC is the most center of The Squad and she's closest to today's political spectrum "center" of the seven (which isn't saying much).

Under that rule you still forgot Stefanik who is more batshit fucking psycho than the other two. You won't find many "lefty" men on the Democratic side. Hell half of Bernie's politics are to the right of Nixon.
 
If the DNC was truly so far to the left, then how did moderate Joe Biden win the 2020 nomination? I know the current iteration of the right tries to portray him as some blood sucking socialist but reality is what it is.


I mean, christ. almost the entire GQP house voted against protection for access to contraceptives last week. That's totally something a sane moderate would do!

A mere 17 months ago, almost 150 GQP house members voted not to certify the 2020 election.

Almost the entire GQP Senate voted not to convict Trump on the second impeachment.

Liz Cheney - a tried and true religious conservative - was defenestrated for telling the true. So was the other remaining honest Republican.



But yes, tell me more about The Squad - that has virtually no authority in the DNC - is driving policy while literal and actual QTARDS are in positions of true authority with the GQP.


edit: I mean the 2012 nominee for the GOP wouldn't get about 25% now. But yeah, it's only the DNC that's moved left.
