2022 Atlantic Hurricane Season: Non-Minnesotans arguing about the weather

Relax people! Don't listen to Big Weather. They want you to live in fear. It's just a little rain. Go for a drive and let the wind flow through your hair. Go up on the roof and enjoy the view. Go to the beach and take a swim. Hey - it's your RIGHT to get washed out to sea.

….and then demand an expensive, taxpayer-funded rescue that puts 3 lives at risk for each one rescued.

How many times are you going to use the same joke that isn't funny? You used it in reply to one of my tweets over the weekend and I saw it in reply to at least one other.

This "storm" is an absolute joke. Not only did the "center" form over land (and has NEVER been over water yet), it is not producing wind gusts to tropical storm force anywhere, never mind the sustained tropical storm force winds that are needed to qualify it as a tropical storm. The National Thunderstorm Naming Center is just making it up as they go along again.

I have gotten the feeling that they have a vested interest in the number of TS's and hurricanes there are.

How are we at 4 if there were none in July-August?

There was actually 1 in July, and 2 and June. (Of course, the 1 in July was a joke and there was actually 1 or 2 in the Gulf of Mexico in August that probably should have been named and weren't, but I digress.)
