The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Just funny how hockey matchups work out sometimes. As you state UVM had trouble with UNH all year. The goalie's stats are not very impressive overall but when she plays against UVM she steps it up and give her and her teammates credit. Grimy tight checking game that Cats finally pulled out in OT. UVM's top two players really stepped up with (#96) PP game tying goal and then the OT (#17) hero shot. Huge sigh of relief from good crowd at Gut when the GWG went in. #17 not only scored GWG with nice snipe, but she had a couple fantastic backchecks that turned 2-V-1's into 2-V-2's.. Those could have gone in and changed the day's outcome.
I thought the Cats really struggled in the second period but other than that played well. I thought they played great in OT but when the good chances don't go in you start to get worried!! Great shot by Schafzahl to get it done!
