2021 Atlantic Hurricane Season: Non-Minnesotans arguing about the weather

June was the warmest on record by almost a full degree. Sept was the 2nd warmest. And from July 1 to Sept 30 we had over 2 FEET of rain.
 
That explains why they gave a name to a subtropical storm. Someone in Boston said "That storm is wahnda'ng all over," and the NWS assumed that it was Wanda. ;-)
