You are inferring a lot from a tweet that is one paragraph. It has zero detail in it just a broad statement. It doesnt say what they gave them in regards to waiver authority or copper plans just that they got something. Seeing as the GOP didnt take the deal it is pretty easy to guess the Dems didnt give up everything in regards to those two things.

And care to back up your other claim with some sort of fact? How exactly did the Dems suck at negotiating? Because they did what they said they would do and try and work with the GOP to fix the holes in ObamaCare? Even leaving out the idea that ObamaCare does need fixing anyways the one claim the GOP has about this whole process is that the Dems wont work to fix it. Now that claim is dead because literally in the middle of doing so the GOP pulled a Yasser Arafat and walked away and resumed the stupidity. Anyone with half a brain knew the negotiating would go nowhere anyways because the GOP needs more than a fix they need repeal but you gotta try just for the press release. The GOP though couldnt even get that right.

There is only one side that looks bad in all of this. That tweet doesnt change that.

You can take Bernie and Klobuchar off the list after Monday night when they get destroyed trying to defend single payer to the stupid people of the United States and the Repubs just stand there and save everyone from socialism.

I mean did you not pay attention when Obama was in office IRT how bad dems suck at negotiating? Just look at the whole Obamacare process and how that came to be, it's pretty self explanatory.

And yet single payer has become increasingly popular in recent times as has Bernie. That's not even getting into how unpopular these Republican plans are once people understand what they're trying to do and the press/guys like Jimmy Kimmel start catching up.

It won't work. Hillary Clinton destroyed Trump in every debate. Debating doesn't matter and it doesn't move the American People to action. The Repubs will do nothing else but talk about socialism and they'll lose the debate but win the war. As always.

Oh, and reading this morning I see that Minnesota takes it up the *** on this Bill but Wisconsin makes out like a bandit. Whatever.

And this is exactly why we lose. Cause no one in America knows the truth nor cares to. With Trump in Office the entire Fiscal Policy of the United States is under Goldman Sachs rule. This idiot believed otherwise and so did everyone else.

Depends how you define it, in modern US terms he obviously wasn't far right loony bin material like most (all) the GOP. But globally/compared to pre-Reagan yeah some of his policies can definitely be described that way.

I'll fully admit I haven't read the article and just sorta skimmed it.

Obama is very conservative temperamentally (remember how cautious he was on gay marriage and other big changes) but intellectually he was all Democratic liberal. I really appreciated his approach, especially now in contrast with the rule by knee jerk tweetstorm that we're dealing with. Trump is the opposite, emotionally unstable but intellectually conservative.

No, it's not. The Democrats don't lose because they don't have big ideas. They lose because the other side gets away with lying. And as long as they do there is no fix. The media this go round is more culpable than anyone to the results of the 2016 election.

The point I took from the article, and one that I gently made here during the campaign when I spoke about some of the reasons I didn't like HRC, is the hypocrisy. I've always thought that you guys (current Democratic Party) are hypocrites on so many things, and I think the public, no matter how stupid you think we all are, understand that too.

The Republican Party tells you exactly what they want to do, and then they either do it or try to do it. They will tell you they are going to cut taxes. They tell you they are going to keep certain races out of the country. They tell you they are going to put up barriers to vote. They leave it up to you to figure out whether all of that is going to be personally good for you.

The Democrats, (again, using the term broadly to cover the party of Obama and HRC), tell you about how horrible all of these Republican policies are, but then when they get elected they never do anything about them. Oh, they'll throw you a small bone periodically, but there is a reason why income inequality in this country didn't change under either Clinton or Obama. As I've said here before, I hope I am alive long enough to see the day when some African Americans in this country start talking with one another and someone asks the question, "wait a minute. Exactly what have the Democrats delivered to us in the last 50 years in exchange for our 90% vote?" You want to talk about suckers, to use the phrase popular around here.

Why are the Democrats hypocrites? Because the dirty little secret in this country is that probably a substantial majority of the deplorable one percenters are Democrats. Tim Robbins will tell you all about the evil right, but I guarantee you he likes his money just as much as the Koch boys do.
