Anyway, those that know me from when I used to post know that I'm right-leaning on things that aren't social issues (my parents think I'm some bleeding heart liberal because I don't give a crap which bathrooms trans people use). That said, I'm somewhere between disgusted and merely annoyed by anything The Donald does. I did not vote for him, nor would I ever.

But I see that list, and short of something massive happening (which, 2 years out, is always possible), I see another Trump administration. Lots of "this person could beat Trump" about people that stumbled through the Kavanaugh hearings. How would Kamala Harris do directly against Trump in a debate? The guy is a steam roller.

We ended up with Trump because of very specific and hopefully never-repeated circumstances, and now, unfortunately, he has momentum in the form of incumbency and a strong economy (again, subject to change, as George HW Bush could attest).

I just made myself sad.

I'm not sure how much debates with Trump matter after 2016. Guy won with "No puppet, no puppet, you're the puppet!"

Yeah. But stupidity is extraordinarily difficult to beat in a debate. Especially his brand of unadulterated stupidity.

You get into the pit, you’re going to done put covered in pig sh-t. If you decline, you’re a coward.

Debates are irrelevant in one regard. The answers. Look good and have great Charisma is all that matters.

The economy is less than a year away from starting a retraction period. The Federal Reserve said as much themselves without actually saying the words, because this may be the last time they raise rates for a while.

Debates dont matter. Hillary crushed Trump in the debates. Half the time he said nothing of value and fought with the moderators. (including those from Faux) The debates are for show.

But Kamala HArris didnt fumble anything in the Kavanaugh hearings nor did Klobuchar. They hammered him and made him have a friggin hissy fit. All of the organizations that supported him (Yale, the Bar...etc.) walked back their support after he cried and yelled conspiracy. Nothing any Dem could do was going to make Susan Collins believe anything bad because she is a fraud and like everyone else in that party follows the leader cause they cant think for themselves.
