2020-21 Bemidji State Beavers-Continue Last Year's Success

Congrats Beavers on a weekend shutout sweep of the Chargers. I am looking for revenge this weekend. Yes, I know we played well against Tech this year (3-1), but when this group of seniors were freshmen, we had a nice team as the #4 seed and Tech was #5 (just like this year). They came to the Sanford Center and swept us in two. Put those 2017-18 clippings up on the locker room bulletin board. Go Beavers!

Bad loss for the Beavers tonight. Does that knock them out of the NCAA tournament? To have any chance, we probably need to root for LSSU tomorrow, or are we already doomed?

The Beavers have to hope the Committee takes 3 WCHA teams and Lake State beats NMU. Even then, it is not a sure thing right now.

I can only imagine the lack of knowledge and complete disinterest of Buccigross and Melrose if the Beavers and Lakers play in the regional final. Great reason to turn down your TV and listen to Brian Schultz, which is the better option regardless.

That would be sad if they didn't do their homework if that matchup happened. I know they are probably rooting for Wisconsin and UMass to meet, but there are a number of interesting storylines to go along with the coverage of Lake State this postseason.

Beavers vs. Lakers would give the opportunity to talk about the storied NAIA history between the two teams, Badgers vs. Lakers would give an opportunity to talk about 1992 and how Wisconsin actually went after the refs and got themselves sanctioned, and Minutemen vs. Lakers has the 25-year drought to talk about.

I can't vouch for what Bucci and Melrose will actually do to prep this time. But I spent a good hour on the phone with Colby Cohen, so he will at least be up to speed on BSU and Lake State.

No, that's ok, I'd rather not re-hash that AGAIN. I look forward to a great college hockey game tomorrow.

WOW! 4-1 end of two for the Beavers! Armour, Rosen, Somoza and Owen Sillinger with the goals.

20 more minutes of Beaver Hockey, boys!

Big-time win today! Let's recreate that '09 magic. I think we probably would've made the tournament last year as well had there been one, so hopefully this is the start of a sustainable tourney team plus more.
