Glad that the team pulled their head out of their a** tonight. Sounded like one of those good goalie/defense type games. And no puck luck. I read on Twitter from the Mankato writer that NMU rang iron a lot tonight.

It was a very solid game, NMU hit one post tonight, hopefully they make the NCAA tourney. Continued success the rest of the year!

Beat him clean, hit the post dead center. On another, had the wide side open, wiffed on the shot.
I 'v watched every game since Cornell, no disrespect to anybody, but the is the best team I have seen us face. We were a step and a half slow Friday, but all the credit to MSU. We played much better last night, but that is one rock solid defensive system MSU going, we were smothered.
Unfortunately, valiant efforts are not going to help us. Big weekend next week.

Good weekend of hockey. Potulny’s done an excellent job of winning with the players he inherited, and now putting his own group of guys in place to take over. Good luck the rest of the way. I expect to see Northern as a regular 20+ game winner.

After last night's shellacking, getting in via an at-large bid is out, and we need to win the whole f-cking thing to get in.

And for tonight and the next few weeks, holding on to home ice needs to be the main priority.

Yep. Home ice is top priority now. F the PWR, F an at large bid. The only way into the dance now is win the tournament.

Gotta do well over Lake State and Tech now to get home ice.

I'd like to see a 13 game win streak starting next weekend.

Well, now that THAT is out of their system. The boys can buckle down and get to work the rest of the season. Because I'd like to go to Detroit in April for something other than Tigers baseball.
