Exactly. It needs to be laid out to the people, point by point. What it does that benefits them. What makes it better than what they currently have. Why it's good for them.

Not true. Ever been to Arcadia or LaBelle? That's pure Trump Country, 20-30 miles in from the coast.

Arcadia is about 75% Mexican-Americans that moved in to pick oranges 3 generations ago. There's also some of the best hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurants you can find anywhere. LaBelle is only about 40% Latino, but yes, it is more Redneck-y. It's also like 4500 people when straight west is about a million republicans that are 30-40% Cubans. There are small pockets, but it's not like Alabama until you get way up North.

In my local state house races, incumbent Dem, and two Dem newcomers leading three GOP, including two incumbents, by at minimum 400 vote margins, with 75% of the vote in.
