2018 Mets. F-ck it, let's do this.

Re: 2018 Mets. F-ck it, let's do this.

To the jerk who started this lame LOLMets thread let me just say this.

9-1, muthafcka!

Re: 2018 Mets. F-ck it, let's do this.

I'm thinking we're fine until the first serious injury to a hitter. We have a perfectly cromulent lineup, and absolutely nothing behind it.

We're about to find out. d'Arnaud is likely gone for the year.

10-1, 8 straight.

In the first instance of the Big Five starting consecutively (Matz, Harvey, Syndergaard, deGrom, Wheeler) the Mets win every game.

Calloway continues to pull all the right strings...the bullpen continues to be lights out...strong starting pitching and timely hitting.

What's not to like right now with this team? I'll certainly agree that it's glass cannon type team. Lose anyone of the big starters or a big hitter in the lineup, could all come crashing down. Not sure the depth is there to survive injuries. Can this team for once please stay somewhat healthy? The last time this organization was relatively healthy for a full season, they went to the NLCS (should have won the WS) in 2006 and then 2015 World Series run that ran into an unstoppable Royals team.

They do seem to have some magic right now, but of course a team on a winning streak always looks like a force of nature. Just win games and get far above .500. A staff with five potential stoppers always gives us a chance. Right now BABIP and clutch hitting has been sublime. There will be dark days too, but hopefully this streak is teaching them they can compete.

And now Plawecki. Lobaton and Nido up but we are certainly in the market for a C to be our Spinal Tap drummer.

The win streak was nice but the key to the 2006 team’s success was the fact they didn’t lose a series until like June or July. Big win streaks are great but if there are long losing streaks mixed in there too it’s counter productive. Give me 2 of 3 in every series all day every day.

Wilmer makes up for not being able to scoop Rosario’s throw that led to both milwaukee runs with the walkoff winner! God I like this team! 12-2 baby! :)

Not just for the winning (though it helps) but this team is a lot of fun.

Mickey f-cked up for the first time today with the PH of Bruce for Nido. I'm glad it didn't cost us.
