2018 Detroit Lions: There Is Not Enough Fireball In The Country.

Re: 2018 Detroit Lions: There Is Not Enough Fireball In The Country.

I’m more pleased that we made the attempt to solidify the interior OL. I still think we’ve got a serious weakness on the defensive line.

Down 25-0 to the Browns in pre-season.

6-10 looking like a real possibility.

Re: 2018 Detroit Lions: There Is Not Enough Fireball In The Country.

That's kinda what I'm thinking. The DL will get very little pressure on QBs this season, and that's going to be the downfall of this defense. The secondary is fine, but even they can't do much when the QBs have 4-5 seconds back there every snap.

My prediction:

9-7! And we get a wild card! Against the Vikings! And we're winning 14-12 with 2 minutes left!

2 minute warning, Vikings have 3rd and 12 at the 50. Defense comes up with a big stop...flag, helmet rule. 15 yards. Vikings kick the game winning FG.

Book it.

I can't wait for Sam Darnold to wrap up the September ROY for going 23-31, 3tds next Thursday.

Who would be fool enough to think the Lions might make the playoffs. ? Seriously?

"Seems like an interesting game so far HOW DO THEY HAVE 48 POINTS?"

Brand new coach.

Same old Lions.

Re: 2018 Detroit Lions: There Is Not Enough Fireball In The Country.

Jets could read plays based on formation and Stafford's hand signals, which I swear I've heard has happened before recently

Based on the score, the Jets were doing the same thing to the D.

Why is it that the Lions constantly find incompetent coaches? We fired a guy who actually took the team to the playoffs for this?

At least it saves some Sunday afternoon time for projects. My Miata restoration will go smoother.

Always the answer :D

Dailying a Craigslist special '99 NB 5-speed, needs a few small things that I haven't been able to get around to (throwout bearing squeal on startup) but overall runs like a top. Debating throwing down some cash on the '19 ND - 25 HP increase in the works, that's suddenly a respectable performer.

Or I could ship the NB to Grand Junction and let Keith play with it...not quite rich or masochistic enough for the LS1 swap though.
