2017 Women's World Championships

I am thinking of starting a service for international hockey teams. For a fee I will flood message boards and social media with dire statements and veiled threats against the team when they lose. It has worked wonders for Team Canada.

3-0 start of the third

Canada with the empty netter to go up 4-0 over the Finns late in the third.

And now final 4 zip, Canada wins

Szabados was on fire in this one. And Canada has broken out of their big scoring slump in a big way in the last few games.

Starting to look like Burlington, Vermont...same basic script ,so far.

If this was the MSHSL, we'd be on a running clock.

I left when the U.S. made it 7-0. It isn't so much that the Germans don't have an answer for Team USA. It's that they can't even get to the end of the question before allowing another goal.

Re: 2017 Women's World Championships

3 plus minutes on a delayed penalty...

10-0 now...Frankly not good for Women's hockey to have a semi-final be this one sided.

Final 11-0...Sheesh.

Germany had fewer shots (8) than the U.S. had goals (11).
Had to miss the game tonight, looks like I didn't miss much. I did think Finland would give Canada a better game.

We were disappointed after the tough fight they put up in the earlier game, I am sure they are heartbroken while the Canadians are very relieved.

Germany came a long way after just being promoted this year and should be able to take some pride in making it to the bronze medal game. The US beat Russia by 7 , the real problem is that we have Canada and USA with Finland making the occasional run then a drop off in talented teams.

Nothing new for years in your last sentence. Don't ever see that changing, ever.
