Bruins would be the like the Browns if they were located in a city like Cleveland! Can't think of another team that kept the same GM around for almost 40 years of ineptitude and bad drafts, while the hockey hotbeds of Carolina and Tampa were collecting Stanley Cups.

Yankees and Cubs heading to the bottom of the 17th. They've set a new MLB record for combined strikeouts (44 and counting).

They came close to 600 pitches (583).

Addison Russell had 8 plate appearances with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts. He alone faced 39 pitches (Red Barrett once had a complete game victory with 58 pitches). The Cubs struck out 26 times but somehow avoided a golden sombrero (5 of their guys struck out 3 times each including their 1-2-3 hitters).

Guess that just goes to show there's one born every minute. How many of the newer stadiums were paid for with public money?
